Manitoba Stampede is a pro-rodeo event on the Canadian Tour circuit, it is the only pro-rodeo in Manitoba and the most Eastern pro-rodeo in Canada. The Manitoba Stampede started in 1964 with a handshake and a dream to be the largest rodeo east of the Calgary Stampede, every year the board and staff of the Valley Agricultural Society work hard toward realizing this dream. As we work toward achieving that goal we are proud to stars some of the top names in bull riding, bronco-busting, tie down roping, bareback riding, steer wrestling, ladies barrel racing, and team roping.
Also check out the fast paced thoroughbred chariot and pony chariot and chuckwagon racing. For those looking for a laugh, look out for the Rodeo Clown.
True to the pride and heritage of rural Manitoba the Agricultural Fair section of the Stampede features dairy shows, light and heavy horse shows, betsy bingo and a Youth Stars of Manitoba Talent Competition. All this and great children’s entertainment in our Ag-Tivity Ranch make this a great event for the whole family.
Adults will enjoy the Scratching River Saloon (formerly the beer gardens) featuring a great line up of entertainment on the Rempel Insurance Saloon Stage. Don’t miss Saturday night QX104 Cabaret in the Scratching River Saloon.
